Jens, known as 'The Baking German,' is a talented pastry chef who puts a modern twist on traditional German recipes. He’s spent years in some of London’s best bakeries, picking up skills and adding his own twists along the way.

At Ottolenghi, Jens has been head of pastry in several locations. He’s helped open new restaurants, train new staff, and kept a close eye on the quality of all the baked goods. For the past few years, he’s been at the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen (OTK), where his passion for quality and creativity comes through in every bread, pastry, and cake he makes.
